Znode Releases Innovative New Features with 9.3 and 9.3.1 Updates

Znode, an enterprise B2B ecommerce platform and product of Amla Commerce, has released its 9.3 platform update. This update focuses on empowering administrators and marketers with a centralized location for managing and using web store templates to simplify the administration of stores. The key features introduced in Znode 9.3 include:

  • Dynamic Styles: Administrators can dynamically change the content styles displayed on the web store from within the Znode admin application by adding additional Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) styles. Adding CSS styles in the Znode admin allows marketing teams to more easily override the default store CSS without needing a developer to update and upload files.

  • B2B Theme & Features: A new B2B-focused store theme is now available for administrators to use. The theme highlights features that already existed in Znode as well as features introduced in 9.3 and 9.3.1, including various user account verification methods and the option to hide custom account pricing to anonymous visitors. The true headless nature of Znode allows this theme to be easily applied as the platform is simply calling APIs.

  • Customer Impersonation: Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and administrators can impersonate a customer on a web store, allowing the CSR to see exactly what the customer is seeing and help them easily find products, add them to their cart, and submit their order.

Additionally, the latest update of the Znode platform, version 9.3.1, adds new features including:

  • QR Code/Barcode Scanning: Shoppers at brick and mortar or retail stores can order and pay for products by scanning a QR code or barcode with the camera on their smart device. The scanning feature is accessible in the new B2B theme, which is headless and separated from the core engine by calling APIs.

The headless nature of Znode allows these updates to be consumed without having to go through an expensive upgrade process.

“We are excited to continue to release new functionality and features that both administrators and shoppers want through the 9.3 update,” says Rupesh Agrawal, President and CEO of Amla Commerce, parent company of Znode. "Because Znode's core architecture is complete, we're able to release functional updates at a faster rate, and our customers can consume these updates without having to go through an expensive upgrade process."
