Branding

The product catalog can be modified using the included ASP.NET 2.0 Master Pages, Style Sheets (CSS) and User Controls to match a company's unique brand. This allows you to create a storefront that closely matches an existing website's look and feel. Every aspect of the storefront is customizable including both the look & feel as well as behaviour - hence you can custom tailor it to any complex requirement.

Tangible vs Intangible Products

You can sell both tangible products and intangible products (software or services) using the Znode Storefront catalog. Tangible products can include a variety of shipping options including FedEx, UPS and custom shipping rules. Downloadable products can include a link to the software for immediate download. You can also associate unique license keys for each download.

Unlimited Product Categories & Listings

You can add unlimited product categories at multiple levels. This allows you to organize your store into different "departments" so users can find their products easily. There is also no limit on the number of products you can add. Products can be added to multiple categories. Znode Storefront has been load tested with storefronts that have 50,000 or more products and is highly scalable.

Category Page

The category page displays a listing of all products in that category. You can also display sub-categories within that category. The product listing also displays filtering options to allow the user to search by options such as popular products or price. You can opt to display only a limited number of products per page, to improve store performance under high load conditions. The category page also has completely customizable rich text blocks to enable you to add text, images, rich media and documents to help sell your products more effectively.

Product Detail Page

The product detail page can display a variety of product information including descriptions, specifications, feature lists, customer reviews, shipping information, pricing, discounts, highlights and more. All this information is organized in a user-friendly tabbed layout that uses AJAX to present information without refreshing the page.

Store Home Page

The home page includes a content managed area that allows you to add text, images, flash and other rich media. You can also display store products such as "specials" on the home page to promote certain products.

Catalog Search

A advanced catalog search functionality is included to allow users to search for products using Keywords, Product Number, SKU and other options. Users can also search for products within a specific category to refine their search.

Store Navigation

The catalog includes a multi-level Tree Navigation that displays the store categories. A drop-down menu is also included that displays the top level categories. These navigation elements use standard ASP.NET controls and hence can be customized to any specific behavior you need on your storefront.
